Hance Elementary School

This project consisted of two separate one-story additions that total about 32,000 SF. The Area A addition consists of a new entry, an administrative area, a gymnasium, cafeteria and kitchen. The Area B addition consists of classrooms. The roof structure consists mainly of steel joists that are supported by exterior masonry bearing walls and interior steel columns.

This project consists of a three-story, 30,000 SF building. The roof structure is a combination of steel joists and pre-engineered trusses. The floor structure is comprised of composite steel framing. Exterior masonry walls and interior steel columns support the floor and roof. The foundation system is a shallow system of spread footings. The press box window incorporates a 70 ft. clear span so that no columns interrupt the site lines.

This project consists of a one-story, 27,500 SF addition to the existing elementary school building. The building structure is comprised of steel framing supported by load-bearing masonry. The foundation system is a shallow system of spread footings.
